We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Operations Specialist to support our commercial team with data-driven insights, process optimization, and cross-functional coordination. This role is key to driving operational efficiency, sales performance, and strategic execution across our commercial functions.
The Commercial Operations Specialist plays a key role in enabling data-driven decision-making, optimizing commercial systems, and supporting strategic initiatives across sales, marketing, and service teams. This role drives improvements in business intelligence, CRM utilization, KPI management, and commercial performance tracking. It requires a proactive mindset, high attention to detail, and the ability to lead cross-functional collaboration between shared services and commercial team while doing system and process enhancements.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Operations Specialist to support our commercial team with data-driven insights, process optimization, and cross-functional coordination. This role is key to driving operational efficiency, sales performance, and strategic execution across our commercial functions.
The Commercial Operations Specialist plays a key role in enabling data-driven decision-making, optimizing commercial systems, and supporting strategic initiatives across sales, marketing, and service teams. This role drives improvements in business intelligence, CRM utilization, KPI management, and commercial performance tracking. It requires a proactive mindset, high attention to detail, and the ability to lead cross-functional collaboration between shared services and commercial team while doing system and process enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in forecasting and S&OP meetings to ensure accurate planning and visibility
- Act as point of contact for sales team for un-forecasted demand of products
- Participate in Global stock allocation reviews: PSI lite, and quality status calls
- Handel tenders’ submissions and support executions of them.
- Ensure stock availability and proper material planning.
- Maintain and build analytical tools to assist the commercial organization in monitoring key performance to improve data quality
- Support pricing strategy and contract lifecycle management.
- Partner with finance to ensure accurate revenue recognition, forecasting, and reporting.
- Develop and document SOPs for commercial operations processes and ensure cross-functional alignment.
- Develop and publish visual reports of KPI’s, providing context, analysis, and improvements on the drivers and performance when applicable
- Shape Leica Biosystems Saudi Arabia’s data management and analytics to support pursuit of Leica Saudi Arabia’s Strategic Objectives
- Work with commercial team to address complex challenges related to CRM, data analytics, KPI, and market visibility
- Work closely with Danaher Dx Saudi Arabia’s DBSL to provide support and supplemental input to advance Leica Saudi Arabia’s DBS maturity
- Acts as main point of contact for CRM and PowerBI dashboards including delivering training to increase sales adoption among the field teams (specifically Sales and Service)
- Acts as main point of contact for SFDC global team.
- Serve as a liaison between commercial teams to assist or gather business requirements needed for system modifications or enhancements
- Drive annual Customer Satisfaction survey (CSS) process
- 5+ years of experience with strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience in working in a cross functional team and with different departments internally such as finance, logistics, customer service and marketing.
- Ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong understanding of commercial organization
- Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively
- Must be self-motivated, creative, collaborative and enjoy meeting demands of a fast-paced organization
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills with the ability to work independently within a cross-functional, global team and experience in leading without direct-line authority and 1:1 coaching
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Finance, Analytics, Data systems, Medical Technology or related field required
- Fluent English & Arabic
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Proficient with online communication platforms (MS Teams, Zoom)
- Experience using MS Whiteboard or Miro
- Experience supporting global sales teams or working in international markets.
- Familiarity with pricing models, discounting structures, and revenue operations.
- Knowledge of compliance, risk management, or legal processes related to commercial activities.
- Great data visualization and presentation skills to provide recommendations based on data insights.
- Possess strong analytical skills, pays close attention to detail and is a strong team player (i.e. no job is too small or too large) with an exceptional work ethic
- Excellent problem resolution skills, written and verbal communications skills, and consistently displays a high level of professional conduct
- Demonstrated proficiency in time and project management skills; ability to handle multiple projects across critical yet often fluctuating timelines – and with sometimes minimal and/or ambiguous input from stakeholders
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills with attention to detail
- Must be self-motivating with a sense of urgency, positive outlook and focused on quality work.
- Maintain attention to details and accuracy.
- Data driven and analytical. Must enjoy data mining and digging into/analyzing numbers, capable of translating customer focused problems into data driven solutions
- Adaptive to change
- Ability to connect with all levels in the organization
- Effectively handles unexpected situations.
- Ability to collect information, identify and diagnose problems
