The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing project budgets, preparing bids and contracts, and negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure cost-effective project delivery.
Job Responsibility
- Develop and implement commercial strategies to maximize project profitability
- Prepare and review project budgets and costs to ensure accuracy and effectiveness
- Negotiate terms and pricing with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients
- Review and analyze contract terms and conditions to mitigate risks and ensure compliance
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to forecast project financials and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Monitor and control project expenses to align with budget constraints
- Manage all commercial aspects of project variations and change orders
- Provide regular financial reports and updates to senior management
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Commercial Manager in MEP contracting
- In-depth knowledge of commercial strategies, budgeting, and costing techniques
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to analyze and interpret complex contract terms and conditions
- Proficient in project management tools and software
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills
- Relevant certifications or professional affiliations in commercial management or MEP contracting.
Strong understanding of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems
- Proven experience in commercial management within the construction industry
