  • Evaluate change orders, variations, and additional works, ensuring accurate valuation and timely approval.
  • Manage all contractual matters, including compliance with FIDIC or other standard forms of contract.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate commercial risks across project phases.
  • Ensure contracts are properly executed, administered, and closed out in accordance with client requirements.
  • Lead the preparation and submission of claims for time and cost, and defend against unjustified claims from subcontractors.
  • Collaborate with legal teams to resolve disputes efficiently and protect project interests.
  • Maintain a comprehensive record of contractual correspondence and claim substantiation.
  • Oversee procurement strategies for materials, services, and subcontractors.
  • Review and negotiate subcontract agreements to ensure favorable commercial terms.
  • Monitor subcontractor performance and manage variations and payment applications.
  • Prepare commercial reports, cash flow forecasts, cost-value reconciliations, and financial statements.
  • Present commercial updates and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Maintain a comprehensive audit trail of commercial activities and decisions.
  • Lead a team of quantity surveyors, cost engineers, and contract administrators.
  • Provide training, mentorship, and performance feedback to build a high-performing commercial team.
  • Promote a collaborative and accountable work culture focused on results and transparency.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring
