CI2C Collector & Credit analyst is the main focal point with customers through face-to-face visit to ensure timely collection in line with customer payment term, and escalation point for credit assessment & control, cash application and collection performance and hold a Credit Authorization thresholds level of up to 3 MEUR as a total exposure.

This position is mainly responsible for ensuring an adequate collection cycle/process with public accounts in the territory of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through NUPCO “National Unified procurement company” and others direct public accounts, to insure timely payment with no delay or overdue, solving any kind of disputes/claims with related department such as supply chain, customer service or finance to expedite the collection cycle, assess customer credit risks and facilitate decision-making for order release and finance management. This will be achieved by providing relevant, timely and accurate information to managers based on analysis of the customer’s payment behavior/ action plan required to recover overdue (if any). furthermore, this position is 40% as a field physical visit to public accounts & 60% office base activities.

This Position Is Responsible To

  • Manage sensitive local activities and perform specific collection actions and customers’ claims investigation.
  • Manage full Collection activities in KSA for public accounts standalone with a potential of a scope expansion, throughout Physical visit to public accounts across KSA.
  • Full ownership of the Public Accounts Receivables (A/R) activities in KSA.
  • Control and manage overall customers dunning procedures as per collection strategy.
  • Prepare and forecast or simulate major KPIs: Accounts Receivable, Overdue, Collections, OTC, SOB etc, including investigation of deviations between Actuals vs Forecasts.
  • Build up the cash collection model and set up cash collection target according to the yearly cash and DSO target, timely tracking achieves % for the target and help business to develop action plan to ensure achieve the yearly collection target.
  • Liaise with public accounts to generate payment allocation & share the same with KL captive team to ensure timely booking of the actual received payment in SAP with no deviation nor delay in booking.
  • Liaise with public accounts to generate any deduction documentation such as penalties or damaged goods & share the same with customer claims dept. or supply chain to ensure Credit note issuance the soonest, hence Clear account receivable outstanding with no old unsolved claims or long pending deduction.
  • Release blocked orders in SAP up to threshold limit.
  • Engage/ prepare Local Credit Committee & Account Committee for performance review or urgent matters and follow-up on open actions.
  • Managing the annual credit limit assessment review of all KSA public accounts in a timely manner including, risk scoring factor & financial analysis.
  • Build a very good relationship with internal stakeholders (Finance, Trade, Customer Service & Supply chain) & external public customers.
  • Contribute to monthly CI2C Closing activities & Reporting, in addition to Adhoc Reports
  • Ensure business continuity either directly or through partnering function, and under proper Segregation of Duty or Compensatory Control.
  • Enforce CI2C standards, guidelines, policies, core model and drive alignment with local teams.
  • Ensure active collaboration with Captive Centers for Greater Gulf -TOM business operations.
  • Maintain Strong Compliance (Internal/External Control & Audit) with any possible simplification/reduction of workload or risk of non-compliance.
  • To identify improvement opportunities from local business content and provide SME support to drive change across the organization.
  • To stand as local communication & main focal point of all collection activities with KSA public accounts.

Operational Responsibilities

  • Accountable for all collection activities for public accounts in KSA, to ensure a smooth collection flow with no overdue monthly.
  • Be the focal point for Top-Down and Bottom-Up communication with regards to CI2C activities
  • Follow road map for implementation of all projects related to CI2C activities.
  • Support in managing all topics related to the improvement of our current processes and procedures.
  • Establish a very good relationship with external public customers including:
  • Monitor closely monthly claims/ deduction such as penalties or damage goods with related stakeholders (claim dept., Supply chain & customer service) and follow up closely with public accounts to generate a proper documentation whenever required to avoid having any impact on customer’s monthly payment, when needed.
  • Maintain close contact with customers via e-mails, phone calls, etc, and throughout regular physical visit for all public accounts.
  • Close following up on the payments related to the customers.
  • Follow up closely with public accounts to generate payment allocation & share the same with KL captive team to ensure timely booking of the actual received payment in SAP with no delay.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders & drive solutions to resolve any issues that may arise to ensure a smooth collection process & management of customer claims and disputes.
  • Propose specific collection action plan, depending on customer’s type and ensure the follow-up on resolution.
  • Releasing of blocked orders after performing credit management checks based on the approval threshold as per the Credit Authorization Matrix in the Global Credit Policy
  • Supporting in Local Credit Committee including:
  • preparation – presentation & action plans follow up per public account.
  • Communicate any deviation to local credit committee stakeholders.
  • Documentation of sales orders release approvals
  • Propose actions to improve the Financial Performance of the business, maintain and improve KPIs.
  • Escalate to Local credit committee members & follow-up on required action plan per customer (when needed).
  • Responsible to perform public customer’s credit limit assessment in KSA including:
  • Assess new customer credit risk / Yearly review / Ad-hoc review.
  • Liaising with Finance - Trade & GBUs teams to receive the annual forecasted sales turnover for all customers.
  • Communicate to external customer to receive the most updated/audited financial statements. (if applicable)
  • Perform the overall assessment per customer connected to the risk category, historical payment performance.
  • Perform the financial statements analysis for each customer.
  • Alignment/ consultation with all internal stakeholders on each customer proposed Credit limit including Local credit committee members, to insure sufficient limits with no risk nor business interruption.
  • Obtain needful approvals according to thresholds limits.
  • Ensure ultimate collaboration with internal stakeholders (Finance, Trade, GBUs, Supply Chain, Customer service, KL Captive team & other SBS teams like A2R & P2P teams
  • Effectively participate in the monthly closing process including:
  • Preparing the required reports bad debt, A/R Aging, etc
  • Review AR Aging analysis and related actions plan per customer.
  • Analyze and monitor CI2C KPIs by communicating regularly on performance to Credit & collection partner.
  • Monthly commission payment to agents, review,/ clearing after required approval.
  • MJE posting through Blackline – Mainly for VAT booking in KSA.
  • Review commission accruals monthly.
  • Enforce QPR to analyze CI2C KPI’s and required action to improve.
  • Ensure business continuity, either directly or through partnering function, and under proper Segregation of Duty or Compensatory Control
  • Customer master data blocking according to local credit management policy (if required)
  • Support internal & external audit inspection by providing the required data.
  • Respect of the affiliate policies & Rules.

Others

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Geographic scope

  • Coverage: manage CI2C & full Collection process activities in the territory of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for all public accounts through NUPCO “National Unified procurement company” and others direct public accounts – with a potential of increasing scope in KSA.

Education

  • Higher economic or finance education / University degree with accounting, finance or credit management qualification preferred (AAT or equivalent)

Work Experience

  • 2-3 Years of relevant experience on public accounts collection cycle, with a V. good understanding of main key credit management concepts and tools
  • Having enough understanding of the whole end-to-end CI2C processes with ability to redefine processes from end-to-end to support Business needs.
  • Track record of having effectively managed efficiency and/or cash-flow improvement programs, external customer’s negotiations.
  • Capable of assessing, analyzing and interpreting complex financial information
  • Possess good understanding of financial statements analysis, credit limit review setting.
  • Good technical skills, experience in using SAP and High-Radius is a plus.

Language

  • Fluency in Arabic (reading & writing) mandatory.
  • Fluency in English (on top of the main local language) mandatory

Skills

  • Capable of assessing, analyzing, and interpreting complex financial information.
  • Medium level or interpersonal/communication skills with ability to interact in a professional manner and effectively collaborate with Leaders, peers, key stakeholders, partners, employees across the organization, to communicate at different level and across the organization, and externally with clients.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with customers to accelerate the collection cycle.
  • Transversal mindset and ability to work across processes, languages, culture and business maturity levels.
  • Strong analytical skills to resolve critical issues and ensure programs stay on track.
