Position Summary:

We are seeking a visionary and experienced Chief Investment Officer (CIO) to lead our product offering in the field of wealth management. As the CIO, you will be responsible for shaping the DPM offering for our customers, and have experience in portfolio construction and risk management, with a focus in the alternatives asset class. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of understanding investment management and have a passion for wealth creation and generation for investor

As the Cofounder & CIO of our company, you will play a key role in driving our success by the following responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

• Investment Strategy and Leadership:
• Develop and lead the implementation of comprehensive investment strategies aligned with the platform's objectives and the financial goals of high net worth clients.
• Utilize wealth tech solutions to enhance investment decision-making processes and optimize portfolio performance.
• Experience working in the private markets through direct interactions with private market funds or fund platforms
• Fintech Integration:
• Leverage fintech tools and data analytics to drive innovation in investment management, ensuring the platform remains technologically advanced and responsive to market trends.
• Collaborate with the technology team to integrate data analytics into investment strategies.
• High Net Worth Client Engagement:
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers and Client Services teams to understand the unique needs and risk tolerances of high net worth clients.
• Develop and present personalized investment solutions that align with clients' financial objectives.
• Discretionary Portfolio Management:
• Demonstrate expertise in Discretionary Portfolio Management, offering tailored investment solutions and managing portfolios on behalf of high net worth clients.
• Implement and oversee discretionary investment mandates, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Risk Management and Compliance:
• Implement robust risk management practices, conducting regular risk assessments and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements in the Saudi Arabian wealth management landscape.
• Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure the platform's investment strategies comply with all relevant regulations.
• Market Research and Analysis:
• Stay abreast of global and local market trends, economic developments, and emerging opportunities to inform investment decision-making.
• Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify investment opportunities and potential risks.
  

Must-Have Requirements and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a CIO or in a senior investment leadership role
• Background in Discretionary Portfolio Management with a focus on high net worth individuals and private wealth management
• In-depth knowledge of investment products, portfolio management, and financial markets in Saudi Arabia and beyond
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field is a plus.
• Working experience in KSA or GCC
  
  

It would be awesome, if you have:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
• Relevant CME certifications for the capacity of managing investments: Completed CME-4 certification (CME-4A and CME-4B)
• Previous work experience in a startup
• Experience in digital wealth management or wealthtech
• Professional certifications such as CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or equivalent.
• Fluent in Arabic and English
• You are currently a resident in KSA
