As a coating specialist detailed check of meters, gauges, and valves to ensure all equipment is operating within production specifications. Implement coating processes according to established recipes, meticulously detailing production activities and inspecting coated parts for defects, adjusting as needed to maintain the highest quality standards throughout the day.

How You’ll Make An Impact
- Enforce standard operating procedures by supervising meters, gauges, valves, and other controls to ensure compliance with production and process specifications.
- Implement coating processes according to established recipes, ensuring consistency and quality in the final product.
- Document production activities, equipment performance, and product quality in logs to supervise operational efficiency and compliance.
- Inspect and examine coated parts for conformity to specifications, checking for defects and testing coat weights and functional properties to ensure high production quality.
- Make vital adjustments to machine setups and processes to improve coating quality, including repositioning fixtures and components as the need arises.
- possess a proven understanding of coating processes, specifically with APS (Atmospheric Plasma Spray) and HVOF (High-Velocity Oxygen Fuel) technologies.
- Experience with ABB and/or Fanuc robot programming is highly appreciated, improving automation and precision in coating applications.
- Demonstrate strong technical capability, crucial for understanding and solving complex coating systems and processes.
- Hold a mechanical, chemical, or electrical polytechnic diploma, engineering degree, or relevant technical certification to support expertise in the field.
- Previous coating experience is required, ensuring familiarity with industry standards and practices, along with proficiency in using a PC and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
