Coating Operator

The Coating Operator is responsible for preparing turbine components for coating, operating the coating control room, and ensuring all processes are performed safely and according to specified requirements. This role ensures proper surface preparation, accurate application of various coating types, and adherence to safety procedures, and quality requirements

Job Description

What you’ll do:

The Coating Operator prepares turbine parts for coating by performing required cleaning, masking, and surface preparation steps. The operator manages the coating process from the control room, monitoring equipment settings and applying coatings according to detailed process specifications and coating type requirements. Responsibilities include maintaining safe operation of the coating cell, identifying and reporting equipment or safety issues, and halting work when conditions do not meet safety standards. The operator ensures all coatings are applied consistently, accurately, and in full compliance with technical and quality requirements.

What you’ll bring:

• Diploma or Technical college degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as coating operator .

What will make you stand out:

• 3 to 5 years of experience.
• Good working knowledge on controller devices in control room.
• Familiar with coating types & turbine parts.
• Ability to read and interpret part drawings and process prints.
• Work closely with or without Supervisors.
• Works cooperatively with colleagues, communicates effectively, and contributes to a positive work environment
• Open to new processes, technologies, training, and continuous improvement.
• Dependable, punctual, and committed to producing quality work.
• Able to adjust to changing priorities, production schedules, and new equipment.
