Job Purpose

Performs inspections and quality control activities on site or at manufacturing plant and reports non conformance

Job Description

• Conducts quality tests as qualified for (destructive and non-destructive tests) to detect non-conformance issues and identifies the causes of rejects
• Participates as requested in evaluation and analysis of complicated cases of non-conformances
• Reads and interprets blueprints and specifications
• Assists Production during start-up of new fabrication and controls authorized repairs
• Checks conformity and traceability of materials used in production
• Calibrates measuring instruments using standards.
• Collects and verifies production records and performs interpretation of test records
• Ensures Client representatives and third party inspectors are called on-time to attend Witness and Hold points
  
  

You Are Meant For This Job If

Minimum Mechanical diploma or equivalent

2 years minimum (oil & gas industry)

BGAS-CSWIP or SSPC or equivalent certificate
