Job Description

  • Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available GCP cloud infrastructure, ensuring alignment with business and compliance requirements.
  • Lead Kubernetes (GKE) operations and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) implementations, including CI/CD pipeline integration and automation.
  • Oversee cloud infrastructure lifecycle management, including provisioning, upgrades, optimization, and decommissioning of resources.
  • Implement and monitor cloud security, IAM policies, observability, incident management, and FinOps best practices to ensure cost efficiency and operational excellence.
  • Mentor and guide Cloud Operators, provide technical leadership, and collaborate with service delivery and stakeholders to ensure SLA adherence.


Requirements

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus
Key Requirements
  • 10 to 15 years of experience in Public Cloud infrastructure management or DevOps roles
    • Deep expertise in managing Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including Google Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud SQL, Storage, VPC, Firewall, IAM and core cloud infrastructure aspects.
  • Hands-on proficiency in Kubernetes administration and Infrastructure as Code provisioning and deployment (Terraform IaC provisioning, CI/CD pipelines).
  • Strong understanding of cloud security, IAM, and compliance frameworks.
  • Extensive experience in cloud infrastructure lifecycle management aspects.
  • Hands-on experience with observability and monitoring tools (Google Cloud Operations Suite), incident response, and FinOps practices.
  • Leadership and mentoring experience; ability to guide a team of Cloud Operators.
  • Preferred certifications: Google Cloud Professional Architect, DevOps Engineer, Network Engineer, CKA/CKAD.
