Job Summary:

Provide specialist nutritional care to Inpatients through the process of assessment, planning, implementation, education, counseling or monitoring under the direction and supervision of the Head/Chief Clinical Nutritionist.

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

• Perform nutritional assessment and reassessment of patients as needed
• Plan, prepare, and serve therapeutic diets as per the standards
• Highlight food and drug interactions to Physicians and document in the medical records
• Nil Per OS (NPO) monitoring
• Approve all menus including any modified diets
• Inspect food service department and ensures regular and modified/therapeutic diets are being accurately served with CBAHI sand HACCP standards followed
• Perform other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of his/her knowledge, skills and abilities

Education/Professional Qualification:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Nutrition or Nutrition and Dietetic
• 2+ years’ of experience in planning regular and therapeutic diets in Accredited hospital(s)
• SCFHS license
