We are looking for a Senior Account Strategist to join our team in Riyadh! As part of the Large Customs Solutions team, you’re based in Riyadh to support our Chinese advertisers in the marketing expansion in Saudi Arabia. You’ll collaborate with the Sales team in China, cross-functional teams in the region and globally, as well as external partners, to grow advertising revenue.

We are looking for a Senior Account Strategist to join our team in Riyadh! As part of the Large Customs Solutions team, you’re based in Riyadh to support our Chinese advertisers in the marketing expansion in Saudi Arabia. You’ll collaborate with the Sales team in China, cross-functional teams in the region and globally, as well as external partners, to grow advertising revenue.
What you'll do:
- Customized Advertising Solution Design. Design localized advertising solutions covering all key notes based on successful cases (e.g., Ramadan Mall) to meet the needs of Chinese advertisers.
- Local Ecosystem Insights and Analysis. Provide in-depth insights into local user behavior, creativity, and activities to help clients enhance advertising effectiveness and service value.
- Client Reception and Brand Presentation. Deliver high-quality reception services for visiting clients, showcasing Snap’s influence and market presence in the Middle East.
- Creative and Resource Support. Provide Arabic language creative materials and assist in sourcing KOLs and branding resources in the Saudi market to meet client creative needs.
- Compliance Review and Client Training. Organize policy and material guideline training for clients in sensitive industries (e.g., social apps) to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Act as a bridge for clients from China entering the Saudi market by introducing the local ecosystem and connecting them with key resources, such as payment systems and government policies. Facilitate efficient collaboration among the internal teams.
- Actively connect with ecosystem partners, such as payment providers, to support Chinese advertisers’ expansion and business growth.
- Creative Communication and Information Feedback. Address ambiguous issues in ad reviews by providing clear communication and collecting and organizing related creative information.
- Resource Integration and Advertising Solutions. Gather and integrate local resources (e.g., information, rate cards, and collaboration models) to design and deliver personalized advertising solutions for clients.
- Think strategically about how to tailor Snap’s products to a client’s unique needs to setting a campaign live to troubleshooting and quickly resolving issues as they arise.
- BA/BS degree or equivalent
- 5+ years experience in the digital media industry, with a focus on performance and brand marketing, ad-tech, programmatic in real-time bidding marketplaces, or a related field
- Knowledge of the digital marketing landscape of China export online market and MENA market.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills with attention to detail
- Strong Google Sheets/Slides skills, experience with analyzing datasets, and delivering actionable insights
- Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects while maintaining strict attention to detail and strong ownership
- Skilled in cross-cultural communication and collaboration, effectively working with diverse teams.
- Fluency in Arabic, English and Mandarin
- Understanding of advertising performance metrics and ecosystem
- Understanding of media management within a biddable auction advertising environment and demonstrated skill in educating others (e.g., advertisers, agencies)
- Ability to summarize insights and best practices, and share them with partners and customers.
- Experience in managing and enabling advertising sales partners
- Ability to perform well in highly dynamic, rapidly changing environments
- Background working with both internal and external partners
- Passionate about Snapchat and up for the challenge of building something from the ground up
- Creative, outside-the-box thinker and strategist
- Strong analytical skills with a “feel” for numbers
- Deep understanding of the digital advertising landscape
- Able to travel as required and embrace flexible working hours to support business needs across different time zones
