As a Client Data Associate within the KYC Operations Team, you will perform comprehensive quality reviews of KYC profiles to ensure compliance with corporate and local regulatory standards. Your role involves evaluating complex KYC/AML documents, ensuring full adherence to regulatory requirements, and building strong stakeholder relationships in a fast-paced environment.

As a Client Data Associate within the KYC Operations Team, you will perform comprehensive quality reviews of KYC profiles to ensure compliance with corporate and local regulatory standards. Your role involves evaluating complex KYC/AML documents, ensuring full adherence to regulatory requirements, and building strong stakeholder relationships in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct end-to-end quality reviews of KYC profiles for accuracy, completeness, and validity, ensuring adherence to JP Morgan standards and global regulatory requirements.
- Manage personal workload and prioritize tasks, escalating key risks/issues to management promptly.
- Stay informed of and apply changes to processes, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide responses to audit and regulatory reviews in line with Controls Team requirements.
- Partner with management to ensure KPIs align with business requirements, monitor metrics, highlight concerns, propose resolutions, track progress, and support management with tasks such as prioritization, escalations, workflow management, team oversight, recruitment, and group initiatives.
- Develop strong partnerships with key stakeholders, proactively building and maintaining relationships across the firm.
- Identify and execute process improvements, providing Subject Matter Expert support on key process and technology initiatives.
- Relevant experience in the financial industry, specifically in KYC/AML.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence others and build successful relationships.
- Excellent analytical and research skills, detail-oriented, with the ability to deep-dive and investigate issues to reach successful resolutions.
- Strong time management skills, self-directing, and capable of handling high-pressure, time-sensitive tasks.
- Quality-focused work ethic with a strong controls mindset.
- Demonstrated flexibility and ability to operate in a changeable environment.
