Civil Engineer (Marine)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage marine construction projects from inception to completion.
• Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards.
• Perform detailed design and analysis of marine structures, including piers, docks, seawalls, breakwaters, and offshore platforms.
• Utilize engineering software to create designs and simulations.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant standards and regulations.
• Oversee construction activities on-site to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
• Conduct site inspections and provide technical guidance.
• Prepare and review technical reports, drawings, and documentation.
• Ensure all project documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
• Liaise with clients, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
• Attend project meetings and provide updates on project status.
• Address and resolve any project-related issues or concerns.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on marine projects.
• Proven experience in managing large-scale marine construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of marine engineering principles and practices.
• Proficiency in engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro, SAP2000).
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
