Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the company’s technology strategy in alignment with business goals.
• Provide visionary leadership to drive innovation and maintain our competitive edge.
• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing engineering team.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and technical excellence.
• Ensure the platform’s scalability to support increasing traffic and international expansion.
• Implement robust, scalable, and secure systems and architectures.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the technology department, including software development, infrastructure management, and technical support.
• Monitor KPIs and IT budgets to assess technological performance
• Drive the development of new features and enhancements to improve user experience and expand our product offerings.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Collaborate with other executives, product managers, and stakeholders to align technology initiatives with business objectives.
• Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
• Ensure the highest standards of security and data privacy. Implement best practices for risk management and regulatory compliance.
• Manage the technology budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources. 
• Develop strategies to lower costs and increase revenue
• Evaluate and integrate third-party solutions and services as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a CTO scaling up a technology startup
• Extensive experience managing technology platforms with millions of daily users.
• Strong technical expertise in software development, system architecture, and cloud infrastructure.
• Demonstrated ability to scale technology solutions to support high levels of traffic and international markets.
• Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with a track record of building and leading high-performing engineering teams.
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with cybersecurity, data privacy, and regulatory compliance.
