Foreground is partnering with a leading drilling and engineering company headquartered in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to appoint a Chief Executive Officer (CEO). This role is central to the organizations long-term strategy and growth within the Kingdoms dynamic energy landscape.

The CEO will be the driving force behind the companys overall vision, responsible for delivering shareholder value while ensuring world-class operational performance. The role demands strong alignment with Saudi Arabias Vision 2030 and the broader global energy transition, balancing operational excellence with innovation and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement a clear corporate strategy that drives long-term growth, profitability, and market leadership.
- Lead and oversee multi-billion-riyal drilling operations across land rigs and offshore assets.
- Represent the organization at board level, with government stakeholders, NOCs, and international partners.
- Drive expansion through M&A, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships with global operators.
- Ensure strong governance, financial discipline, and adherence to ESG and sustainability frameworks.
- Champion digitalization, automation, and safety culture transformation.
- Build a high-performing executive team, embedding accountability and leadership depth across the business.
- 20+ years in oilfield services, drilling, or energy engineering; 10+ years in C-suite roles.
- Proven success leading complex multi-country drilling operations and large-scale P&Ls.
- Board-level leadership experience with national and international operators.
- Strong track record in capital projects, joint ventures, and growth through partnerships.
- Experience driving transformation across digital drilling, ESG, and organizational culture.
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Petroleum, or Business; MBA strongly preferred.
