Chief Commercial Officer (CCO)

  • Education: Bachelors degree in business administration, marketing, engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred
  • Experience: Proven track record of success in senior commercial or business development roles within the manufacturing, technology, or 3D printing industries
  • Language: Fluent in Arabic & English


Role Purpose

As the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), you will be responsible for driving sustainable growth and profitability for the company by developing and executing effective commercial strategies. You will oversee the commercial team, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence within the rapidly evolving 3D printing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive commercial strategy aligned with the company's vision and mission.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to set strategic priorities and financial targets.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance of commercial activities.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.


Business Development:

  • Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners.
  • Lead negotiations and contract discussions to secure profitable deals.
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies that optimize revenue and profitability.


Sales and Marketing Management:

  • Oversee the sales and marketing teams, setting clear objectives and performance metrics.
  • Develop and execute effective sales and marketing plans to achieve business goals.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and customer-centricity within the commercial team.


Customer Relationship Management:

  • Building and ensuring a robust sales order process to deliver strong customer engagement
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with key customers to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Address customer needs and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
  • Ensure that customer expectations are met and projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.


Team Leadership and Development:

  • Build and lead a high-performing commercial team capable of executing end-to-end sales processes.
  • Provide mentorship and development opportunities for team members.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive team culture.
  • Implement performance management systems to track and evaluate team performance.


Collaboration and Communication:

  • Promote cross-functional collaboration to support commercial objectives.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences to enhance brand visibility


Skills:

  • Adequate understanding of 3D printing technologies, applications, and market dynamics.
  • Exceptional sales, negotiation, and leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and close complex deals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to analyse market trends, identify growth opportunities, and develop actionable plans.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a passion for driving innovation and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
