Certification Specialist

Independent Certifier (IC) Services Manager - Hospital Al Ansar - Medina, KSA

Required education:

Certified Architect or Engineer. Being trained as a Project Manager would be a plus.

IC MANAGER, Engineer/Architect with wide experience in Project Management and Site works Supervision and Independent verification, that will be responsible of the following activities:

• Be aware and have full acknowledge of the Project determinants: Contract conditions, Design and Construction requirements, applicable regulations and obligations,
• Attend Design and Construction coordination meetings, acknowledge and register the agreements,
• Review and acknowledge all design and construction documentation. Check compliance with Project Requirements and applicable regulations,
• Serve as point of contact and liaison between Back-Office Support and rest of Stakeholders involved in the project,
• Liaise and mediate between the Parties in any discrepancies that may be raised. Issue Instructions or Determinations whenever an agreement is not reached. Follow up compliance with Instructions/Determinations of all involved Parties,
• Prepare a site visits programme. Carry out site visits and inspections according to it. Attend site visits along with the Employer when required and attend additional site visits if requested by the Contractor. Keep records of the inspection observations,
• Prepare and submit a Monthly summary report.

Minimum professional experience:

• At least 10 years in construction supervision,
• Experience in Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Project(s) would be a plus,
• Experience in Hospital(s) would be a plus,
• Testing and Commissioning (T&C) Engineering would also be a plus.

Languages:

English: C1

Arabic: a plus.

Location:

Medina, KSA.

Project Duration:

Minimum of 2 years.

This position will be contracted to a local employer in order to comply with local KSA labour rules and regulations.
