Job Overview:

Our client, a leading luxury catering, banqueting, and restaurant group in Saudi Arabia, is seeking an experienced Catering Sales Manager to oversee the catering sales function and lead a dedicated sales and admin team. This role is responsible for driving business growth through strategic sales initiatives, managing client relationships, and ensuring the smooth coordination of catering and banquet events. The ideal candidate brings both commercial acumen and operational understanding, along with strong leadership capabilities in a multicultural setting.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a catering sales and admin team of 6, setting sales targets, tracking KPIs, and cultivating a culture of performance and accountability.
  • Drive a collaborative, client-focused team environment that reflects the company’s values of excellence, service, and integrity.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, offering tailored catering solutions to high-end corporate, social, and private clients.
  • Collaborate with culinary, service, and operations teams to align event details with guest expectations, ensuring consistent high-quality execution.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from inquiry to event follow-up, including site visits, proposal development, pricing, and contracting.
  • Present venue and catering offerings with confidence and creativity, customizing proposals to meet diverse client needs.
  • Resolve client concerns effectively, upholding a service-first mindset while safeguarding operational feasibility and brand reputation.
  • Ensure seamless internal communication of event requirements across departments, guaranteeing flawless delivery from planning to execution.
  • Analyze guest feedback and post-event reviews to identify service improvements that enhance satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
  • Support team development through regular coaching, training, and performance reviews aligned with service excellence goals.


Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Solid background in catering or event sales, preferably in luxury hospitality, banqueting, or high-end food service operations.
  • Demonstrated success in leading sales teams and exceeding revenue targets within competitive, fast-paced environments.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with a consultative sales approach and attention to detail.
  • In-depth understanding of catering logistics, food and beverage coordination, and operational event planning.
  • Highly organized with strong time management and multitasking capabilities.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms, proposal tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Professional presentation with high cultural awareness, integrity, and adaptability.
