Job Overview:

Our client, an ultra-luxury events and banqueting company in Saudi Arabia, is seeking a highly creative and skilled Cake Artist to design and execute bespoke cake creations for high-profile events and occasions. The ideal candidate will bring artistic vision, precision craftsmanship, and expertise in luxury cake design to meet the standards of an elite clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize, design, and craft luxury cakes tailored to clients’ themes, preferences, and event styles.
• Create intricate decorations using sugar, fondant, chocolate, and other mediums with exceptional attention to detail.
• Collaborate closely with the pastry and events team to align cake designs with overall event concepts.
• Ensure flawless presentation and timely delivery of cakes for weddings, galas, banquets, and VIP events.
• Maintain consistency in quality, creativity, and innovation while adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
• Stay updated on global cake design trends and techniques to continuously elevate artistic offerings.
• Oversee inventory and manage specialized ingredients, tools, and decorative materials.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Must have large cake experience.
• Proven experience as a Cake Artist, preferably in luxury hotels, high-end patisseries, or premium event companies.
• Strong portfolio showcasing artistic cake designs, sugar art, and decorative craftsmanship.
• Expertise in various decorating techniques, including fondant, royal icing, airbrushing, and sculpting.
• Creative flair combined with precision, patience, and a strong eye for detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver within tight deadlines while maintaining luxury standards.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene practices, and international pastry standards.
• Flexibility to work long hours, weekends, and during peak event seasons.
