General Responsibilities:
- Identify, evaluate, and manage business opportunities/leads in securing sales pipeline in line with short- and long-term financial goals.
- Manage research/feasibility studies/market scan, evaluate findings, and prepares information for decision-making.
- Develop and leverage constructive relationships within target accounts to gain access to key decision-makers.
- Manage the contract negotiation process. Prepare contracts, providing inputs on proper pricing and contract terms.
- Developing the proposal with solution design graphics to enhance the proposed solution with the operating model, resource models, operating cost estimates, recommended selling price, the estimated value for the client.
- Review the portfolio sales performance and prepares for sales meetings, weekly debriefs, and sales reviews.
- Mentor and guide a high-performing business development team to meet objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree in/focus on Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or relevant education.
- Experience in international business and minimum 5 years of experience in warehousing, transportation, and broader supply chain topics.
- Local Logistics Market & Competitor Knowledge.
- Solution design capabilities are essential for this role.
- A proven track record in new business development and account management position
- Deep understanding of business principles and language, including knowledge of finance and profitability.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly developed organizational ability, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
- Great analytical/critical thinking skills.
- Strong research and strategic analysis skills.
- Extensive contact and negotiating with other departments and 3rd parties with conflicting objectives.
