Business Analyst

Business Analyst will be part of a large team who is currently developing an enterprise solution in public sector organization; he or she will work under experienced team of solution architects to develop the knowledge and competency in the designated domain area. Business Analyst will collect and document the business requirements, document business processes, develop and conduct testing for applications, conduct training of end users and resolve problems for existing running applications.

• Conducts self in an appropriate manner as a representative of AEC, working effectively in a diverse work environment.
• Participates in cross-functional team meetings to develop and implement business solutions and optimize operations. Conducts impact analysis of ERP products and other applications, systems, upgrades and changes for functional areas, and evaluates systems and business processes.
• Contribute to the business process analysis and business process reengineering related to the designated domain(s).
• Ensures understanding of the business functions and processes needed and documents those processes.
• Documents requirements specifications for enhancements, upgrades and remaining Legacy functions according to standard templates. Assists with the documentation of the requirements and procedures.
• Liaises with other application areas to coordinate interdependencies and resolve issues.
• Responsible for post implementation review and monitoring of the business applications within the designated domain(s).
• Participates in Change Request process to approve, document, test and certify all changes to the ERP and other applications.
• Ensure confidentiality of information at all times.
• Release confidential information obtained during the course of employment to only those who are authorized to receive that information and with prior approval as needed.
• Develop and maintain effective and productive relationships with Customer and other team members
  
  

Education

Job Requirements:

• Graduate or Post Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems of equivalent from a reputed national / foreign educational institution.
• Certification in either SAP or Oracle will be plus.
• Communication capabilities in English and Arabic languages.
  
  

Relevant Experience

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in similar position.
• Experience of gathering and documenting system requirements and documenting system functional design for business applications solutions and related implementation issues from a functional perspective.
• Knowledge of enterprise wide system implementation, integration, interfaces and data conversion.
• Experience of Software Development Life Cycle methodologies.
• Experience in defense Sector will be plus.
