The client is an international organization that has recently launched its first Building Material factory in Jeddah to serve the growing demand in Saudi Arabia.

The Role

Responsibilities

Our client is currently looking for qualified candidates for a Building Material Sales Director position who will be working in Jeddah having the following key responsibilities:

  • Formulate and execute strategic plans to expand sales volume and increase market share across the Western Region and beyond.
  • Cultivate long-term partnerships with developers, contractors, architects, and other stakeholders within the construction ecosystem.
  • Supervise the preparation of commercial offers, ensuring alignment with project requirements and competitive pricing.
  • Continuously monitor industry trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for differentiation and business expansion.
  • Coordinate closely with production, logistics, and finance teams to ensure customer requirements are met on time and within scope.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the sales team, setting performance goals and tracking KPIs to ensure achievement of targets.
  • Manage the negotiation and administration of contracts to ensure compliance with client terms and company policies.
  • Provide senior management with accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and business insights.

The Candidate

We are looking for candidates who meet the following specifications:

  • Preference will be given for Saudi applicants
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or any relevant specialization.
  • 10+ years in sales, business development, or marketing within the construction or industrial sectors; experience with building materials is essential.
  • Strong understanding of the construction procurement cycle, estimation processes, and supply chain logistics.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools, MS Office Suite, and sales performance software.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with fluency in both Arabic and English.
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive market environment.
