Bim Manager

Selection 90885 - We are seeking an experienced BIM Manager with expertise in overseeing and implementing Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes for high-end, large-scale mega projects.

Posizione

In this leadership role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient use of BIM technology across all phases of the project, from design to construction, ensuring that all project stakeholders are aligned and delivering according to the project's goals. You will lead a multidisciplinary team to optimize the design, construction, and operation processes while ensuring quality, efficiency, and collaboration across all involved parties.

Key Responsibilities

• BIM Strategy and Implementation: Develop, implement, and manage the BIM strategy for high-end, mega projects. Ensure that BIM processes are aligned with project goals, timelines, and budgets. Oversee the creation and management of the BIM execution plan (BEP) and ensure compliance throughout the project's lifecycle.
• Team Leadership: Lead and manage the BIM team, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to ensure that all team members are proficient with BIM software and processes. Promote collaboration and knowledge sharing among the project team to optimize BIM utilization.
• Project Coordination: Coordinate BIM activities across various disciplines (architecture, structure, MEP, etc.) to ensure smooth integration of design and construction information. Ensure the correct models are being produced, maintained, and shared with the appropriate stakeholders.
• Model Quality and Standards: Ensure the quality and accuracy of BIM models, reviewing models for coordination, clashes, and compliance with project standards. Oversee the implementation of BIM standards and protocols for model creation, data management, and file sharing.
• Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure the BIM process aligns with their workflows. Ensure proper data exchange and communication using BIM platforms like Revit, Navisworks, and others to facilitate project delivery.
• Clash Detection and Issue Resolution: Lead clash detection processes using BIM tools, identify potential issues early in the design and construction phases, and work with relevant teams to resolve conflicts, reducing costly delays and rework during construction.
• Data Management and Integration: Manage and oversee the flow of project data within BIM, ensuring that all project information is captured, integrated, and accessible to the relevant stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure seamless integration with other project management tools and software.
• Training and Development: Continuously improve the team’s technical proficiency in BIM and keep up to date with the latest BIM tools and trends. Conduct internal training sessions and workshops to ensure that team members remain up to speed on the latest technologies and methodologies.
• Reporting and Documentation: Provide regular reports to senior management on the status of the BIM process, project milestones, and any issues or challenges encountered. Maintain detailed records and documentation of BIM workflows, models, and decisions made throughout the project.
• Sustainability Integration: Leverage BIM technology to improve sustainability outcomes, such as energy modeling, environmental impact analysis, and waste reduction in construction processes.
• Technology Integration: Stay updated on the latest BIM software tools, technologies, and trends, and lead the integration of emerging technologies such as Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), and Artificial Intelligence (AI) where applicable.
  
  

Requisiti

Must Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• 5/10 years of experience in managing and implementing BIM for large-scale, high-end projects, particularly in the context of mega developments.
• Extensive knowledge of BIM software, including Revit, Navisworks, and other BIM tools; experience with project management software is a plus.
• Deep understanding of BIM processes and how they integrate into various stages of project development, including design, construction, and facilities management.
• Experience in clash detection, model coordination, and the ability to resolve complex technical challenges.
• Strong understanding of industry standards, guidelines, and protocols for BIM execution, including ISO 19650, as well as local BIM standards specific to the region.
• Fluent in English. Proficiency in other language will be considered a plus.
