Key Responsibilities

  • Lead R&D initiatives focused on BIM innovation, automation, and smart digital workflows, prioritizing the development of custom tools and applications for rapid design reviews, model validation, and automated compliance checks for models and sheets
  • Design and develop custom BIM tools and applications using Autodesk Platform Services (Forge) APIs, Revit API, Dynamo, Python, and C# to enhance productivity within the Common Data Environment (CDE)
  • Create interactive dashboards using Power BI, Autodesk Forge, and ACC Insight to visualize project KPIs and coordination status, supporting data-driven decision-making
  • Develop and maintain web applications using ASP.NET Core and React to integrate BIM solutions with scalable, cloud-hosted services (e.g., Azure, AWS)
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs for efficient communication between frontend and backend systems, ensuring seamless integration with BIM tools and Digital Twin frameworks
  • Write scripts and plug-ins to automate workflows, leveraging Revit API, Dynamo, Python, and C# for enhanced BIM functionality
  • Optimize database schemas and write efficient SQL queries using SQL Server or similar relational databases to support BIM data management and analytics
  • Contribute to Digital Twin frameworks, ensuring alignment with ISO 19650 workflows and standards
  • Collaborate with Digital Delivery, BIM, Project Controls, and cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions across web, database, and BIM systems
  • Perform quality assurance tests to identify and resolve defects in developed tools and appli- cations
  • Stay updated on emerging trends in AI, data analytics, automation, .NET, React, database technologies, and Autodesk Forge, recommending their adoption to improve development processes within the AEC industry

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Architecture, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Proven expertise in Revit API, Dynamo, Python, C#, Autodesk Platform Services (Forge), and Power BI for BIM application development
  • Strong understanding of BIM standards, particularly ISO 19650, and experience contributing to Digital Twin frameworks
  • Proficiency in software development using C# and .NET technologies, particularly ASP.NET Core, for building scalable web applications
  • Strong experience with React for frontend development, including state management, component- based architecture, and modern frontend tooling (e.g., Webpack, npm)
  • Expertise in designing and querying relational databases (e.g., SQL Server) and writing efficient SQL queries to support BIM data workflows
  • Demonstrated experience in building automation tools and scalable digital solutions for rapid design reviews, model validation, and compliance checks
  • Familiarity with cloud hosting platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and developing RESTful APIs for integrated BIM solutions
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and proficiency with version control tools such as Git
  • Bonus: Experience with WPF for desktop application development and MVVM pattern
  • Bonus: Familiarity with Digital Twins, database integration, and cloud platforms such as ACC or Autodesk Tandem
  • Bonus: Knowledge of BIM principles and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) to support Forge API integration
