Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative BIM Coordinator to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a BIM Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes for our projects, ensuring efficient collaboration and high-quality deliverables.

• Lead the development and maintenance of 3D BIM models for various project phases
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure accurate integration of all building systems in BIM models
• Conduct clash detection analyses and resolve conflicts between different disciplines
• Organize and lead BIM coordination meetings with engineers, designers, and other stakeholders
• Develop and implement BIM standards, protocols, and best practices across projects
• Supervise and mentor BIM modelers, ensuring adherence to quality standards and project timelines
• Prepare and update BIM execution plans and model development specifications
• Collaborate with project managers to align BIM processes with project goals and timelines
• Generate 2D drawings and documentation from BIM models as required
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for BIM-related issues
• Stay updated on the latest BIM technologies and industry trends, recommending improvements to current processes

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or a related field; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in BIM coordination, preferably in large-scale construction projects
• Advanced proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD; familiarity with other BIM software is a plus
• In-depth knowledge of BIM standards, protocols, and best practices
• Strong understanding of construction processes, methodologies, and building systems
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Outstanding communication abilities, both written and verbal
• Proven experience in clash detection and resolution
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Experience in coordinating multi-disciplinary teams
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations is advantageous
• Willingness to adapt to new technologies and industry developments
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet project deadlines
