Description:


We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Basel & Regulatory Reporting Manager to join our dynamic finance team. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and reporting requirements, particularly related to Basel regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial regulations, risk management, and reporting processes. You will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and submission of regulatory reports, analyzing risk data, and collaborating with various departments to ensure alignment with regulatory frameworks.


Core Responsibilities:


  • Oversee the preparation, review, and submission of Basel regulatory reports (e.g., Pillar 1, Pillar 2, and Pillar 3).
  • Ensure compliance with local and international regulatory requirements related to capital adequacy, liquidity, and risk management.
  • Collaborate with risk management, finance, and compliance teams to gather necessary data and insights for accurate reporting.
  • Conduct regular assessments of reporting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Monitor changes in regulations and assess their impact on the organization’s reporting obligations.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Basel guidelines.
  • Provide training and support to team members on regulatory reporting requirements and best practices.
  • Prepare presentations and reports for senior management and regulatory bodies as needed.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in regulatory reporting, risk management, or compliance within the financial services sector.
  • Strong knowledge of Basel III regulations and other relevant financial regulations.
  • Proficient in data analysis and financial reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
