Responsibilities
1. Prepare and serve a variety of coffee-based beverages, including hot chocolate, espresso, lattes, cappuccinos... etc according to company recipes and standards.
2. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and answering questions about menu items.
3. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including cleaning and sanitizing workstations, equipment, and utensils.
4. Restock supplies as needed, including coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other ingredients.
5. Follow food safety and hygiene standards to ensure the health and safety of customers and coworkers.
6. Upsell additional items and promote special offers to customers.
7. Handle customer complaints and concerns professionally and escalate to management when necessary.
Qualifications
1. Previous experience as a barista or in a similar role preferred.
2. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
4. Attention to detail and accuracy in order taking and preparation.
5. Strong interpersonal skills
6. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
7. Food safety certification or willingness to obtain one.
8. High school diploma or equivalent.
