We seek a Freelance BFF Developer who shares our passion for innovation and change. This role is critical to helping our business partners evolve and adapt to consumers' personalized expectations in this new technological era.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain a BFF layer to support the Svelte frontend.
- Design and expose REST/GraphQL APIs that integrate with AEM and client-provided backend services.
- Handle API orchestration, caching, error handling, and security.
- Collaborate closely with frontend and AEM backend teams.
- Monitor and optimize performance of the BFF layer.
- 3+ years experience in backend development with Node.js.
- Experience designing and implementing APIs (REST or GraphQL).
- Familiar with authentication (OAuth2, JWT), rate limiting, and logging.
- Prior experience integrating with AEM or similar CMS platforms is a plus.
- Knowledge of Express.js or Fastify preferred.
