The B2B Manager – Metabolic role will focus on planning and executing effective educational campaigns / programs for the pharmacy channel in Saudi Arabia, ensuring closed loop communication with Lilly Finance team and local distributor along the forecasting and SKU planning. The B2B Manager will need to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the retail sector of Saudi Arabia guaranteeing that Lilly to be the most valuable & credible partner in different disease areas.

The B2B Manager will be accountable for establishing and maintaining optimal & continuous availability for LILLY products in retail and private sector in the assigned region, including achieving or exceeding managed markets account targets and other business goals and metrics.

Responsibilities & Tasks

  • Implement effective educational campaigns for pharmacists on the product, indications & dosing
  • Share inputs and create feedback loop with Trade Marketing organization to ensure Lilly pharmacy programs & patient education activities launched in the pharmacy space address the unmet needs
  • Contribute to the overall pharmacy activities strategy from planning to execution.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key healthcare providers and stakeholders in pharmacy chains & major hospitals management.
  • Prioritize Accounts. Understand which customers are most important to Lilly and ensure appropriate allocation of scarce resources
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team, to deliver business results for the retail sector in Saudi
  • Effectively communicate with internal business stakeholders, including clear, accurate, and data-driven reporting on performance as well as insightful learnings.
  • Consistently measure performance through pharmacy analytics and implementation KPIs
  • Support other functions in the S&OP, forecasting process, and be part of the sales targeting process in addition to being responsible for tracking the allocated budget.
  • Ensures adequate relationship with distributors staff and working with related branch managers to manage retail and private hospitals orders processing to ensure on time availability of Lilly brands based on stocks / demand monthly tracking.
  • Demonstrate deep knowledge of Lilly products and payer brand value messages.
  • Display knowledge of pharmaco-economic principles and how these principles relate to Lilly products and their disease states.
  • Understand and follow all compliance policies, laws, regulations
  • In addition to the key performance areas listed above, additional responsibilities may be added from time to time depending on business requirements.


Skills, Knowledge, & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 7 years pharmaceutical market experience.
  • Experience in the private healthcare market.
  • Key account management experience is a must.
  • Sound commercial acumen and high learning agility.
  • Strong track record of measurable business growth in the private market.
  • Refined negotiation skills & effective communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Arabic and English.
  • Strong analytical skills and strong command of Microsoft Excel & Power Point
  • Established relationships with private stakeholders will be a plus.


Additional Information

  • The role is based in the city of Riyadh
  • 20% travel requirements within Saudi Arabia
  • May require evening/weekend work
  • Must be legally allowed to work in KSA
