Key Responsibilities:

1- Planning and Supervision:

  • Develop and prepare external audit plans in accordance with professional standards and local and international regulations.
  • Supervise audit teams to ensure high-quality and timely execution of financial statement audits.

2- Audit Execution:

  • Review and analyze financial statements and comprehensive financial data of entities.
  • Evaluate internal control systems and financial policies for compliance with accounting standards and relevant regulations.
  • Ensure adherence to the policies and regulations of the Saudi Organization for Chartered and Professional Accountants (SOCPA).

3- Reporting and Recommendations:

  • Prepare final audit reports.
  • Provide recommendations to clients for improving financial and administrative systems based on audit findings.

4- Client Relationship Management:

  • Maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Ensure clients’ needs and objectives are met while enhancing client satisfaction with services provided.

5- Training and Development:

  • Train and mentor audit teams to improve performance and efficiency.
  • Monitor team development and enhance their technical and professional skills.

6- Professional Compliance:

  • Ensure all team members adhere to international standards (e.g., IFRS).
  • Manage legal and regulatory challenges related to the external audit process.


Requirements and Qualifications:

1- Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Professional certification such as SOCPA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 8–10 years of professional experience in financial auditing, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.

2- Professional Skills:

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.
  • In-depth knowledge of IFRS and International Standards on Auditing (ISA).
  • Advanced knowledge of Saudi regulations related to Zakat and taxes.

3- Personal Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English.
  • High ability to manage time and perform under pressure efficiently.
