We are seeking an experienced and driven Associate - Hydrology to join our water design team in Riyadh. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing and delivering hydrological design and analysis projects that support water infrastructure and flood management solutions across Saudi Arabia. This position requires strong technical expertise, project leadership, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams.

Your new role, what's involved?

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee hydrology design projects, ensuring compliance with local and international standards and best practices.
  • Perform hydrological analyses and modeling to assess water flow, flood risks, and stormwater management for various infrastructure projects.
  • Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Provide expert technical advice and mentorship to design team members, ensuring high-quality and innovative hydrological solutions.
  • Review and validate technical reports, models, and drawings, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of project data.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project goals.
  • Support business development initiatives by preparing proposals, technical documentation, and client presentations.
  • Stay informed about the latest developments in hydrology and water resources engineering, integrating new methodologies and tools into project work.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree in Hydrology or Water Resources Engineering is preferred.
  • 14+ years of relevant experience in hydrological design and analysis, with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Demonstrated experience in hydrology projects within the Middle East, especially in Saudi Arabia.
  • Proficiency in hydrological and hydraulic modeling software (e.g., HEC-RAS, SWMM, MIKE FLOOD).
  • Strong understanding of local regulations, standards, and environmental considerations in Saudi Arabia.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with clients, teams, and stakeholders.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
