About the Role:
We are looking for a highly skilled and strategic Associate Director - Risk to join our team at Qiddiya Investment Company. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with our projects and operations. This position requires a forward-thinking leader who can develop and implement comprehensive risk management strategies that align with the strategic objectives of Qiddiya.
Your ability to collaborate with diverse teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels will be critical to fostering a risk-aware culture throughout the organization. You will lead risk assessments, manage risk registers, and ensure that mitigation strategies are integrated into project planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures tailored to Qiddiya's unique operational requirements
- Conduct regular risk assessments, documenting potential risks and defining appropriate mitigation strategies
- Establish and maintain a comprehensive risk register, ensuring all risks are monitored and managed effectively
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure risk management is integrated into all aspects of project planning and execution
- Communicate risk insights and findings to senior management and stakeholders, providing informed recommendations for action
- Champion a risk-aware culture across the organization, providing training and resources to staff on effective risk management practices
- Monitor industry trends and emerging risks, adjusting policies and procedures accordingly to ensure organizational resilience
- Support compliance with local and international regulatory requirements pertaining to risk management
- Prepare and present risk management reports and updates to executive leadership
- Mentor and develop junior staff in risk management best practices
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field; a master's degree or professional certification in risk management is preferred
- 12-15 years of experience in risk management, preferably within large-scale projects or organizations in the entertainment, culture, or mixed-use sectors
- Strong knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and risk management frameworks
- Proven experience in developing and implementing risk management strategies that effectively mitigate potential risks
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey complex risk concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a keen attention to detail
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide teams
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards in risk management and oversight
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple priorities and deadlines
