Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking an Associate Director - International Media Relations to play a vital role in shaping and maintaining the organization's global media presence. In this high-impact position, you will develop and implement media strategies to enhance Qiddiya's reputation, build strong relationships with key media stakeholders, and effectively communicate our vision and projects to international audiences.

Your expertise in media relations and communication strategies will be essential in ensuring that Qiddiya is positioned as a leader in the entertainment and leisure sectors. Collaborating with various internal teams, you will craft engaging narratives that highlight our initiatives and achievements while managing media inquiries and crises proactively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive international media relations strategies that align with the overall goals and objectives of Qiddiya Investment Company
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and influencers on a global scale
  • Act as the primary spokesperson for the company in international media engagements, ensuring consistent and accurate messaging
  • Craft compelling press releases, media kits, and other communication materials that effectively convey Qiddiya's projects and initiatives
  • Manage all aspects of media outreach, including pitching stories, responding to inquiries, and coordinating interviews with senior executives
  • Monitor media coverage and analyze trends to provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management
  • Develop crisis communication plans and manage media responses during high-stakes situations
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing, corporate communications, and project leads, to ensure alignment in messaging and positioning
  • Organize and facilitate media events, press conferences, and other outreach initiatives to enhance Qiddiya's visibility

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Media Studies, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in media relations, public relations, or corporate communications, with a specific focus on international markets
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful media relations strategies on a global scale
  • Strong network of contacts within international media outlets and experience in crisis communication management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong analytical skills to measure and evaluate the effectiveness of media strategies
  • Ability to represent the organization with poise, professionalism, and authority
