About the Role:
The Associate Director - Engineering will play a critical role in overseeing and managing the engineering aspects of Qiddiya's ambitious development projects. This position requires a strategic thinker with a robust engineering background who can lead multidisciplinary teams in delivering high-quality, innovative solutions that align with Qiddiya's vision.
This role includes developing engineering strategies, managing project execution, ensuring compliance with standards, and facilitating effective communication among stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in large-scale infrastructure projects and possess strong leadership abilities to guide teams toward successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the engineering design and execution of projects within Qiddiya, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
- Coordinate with various stakeholders including architects, planners, and construction teams to integrate engineering solutions seamlessly into project development
- Oversee engineering activities including feasibility studies, design reviews, and technical assessments to ensure optimal project solutions
- Drive innovation in engineering practices to enhance sustainability, efficiency, and functionality of developments
- Ensure compliance with all engineering codes, regulations, and safety standards during project development
- Mentor and develop engineering staff, fostering an environment of teamwork and professional growth
- Prepare and present project updates and engineering reports to senior management and stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize project delivery and solve complex engineering challenges
- Manage engineering budgets and resource allocation for project execution
- Continuously evaluate engineering processes and recommend improvements to enhance project outcomes
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Structural, Electrical, or related field); Master's degree preferred
- Minimum 10-15 years of experience in engineering management, specifically in large-scale infrastructure or development projects
- Proven track record of successfully managing multidisciplinary engineering teams and delivering complex projects on time and within budget
- In-depth knowledge of engineering principles, standards, and best practices
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Expertise in project management methodologies and tools, with a focus on best practices in safety and quality assurance
- Experience in conducting technical feasibility assessments and risk management for engineering projects
- Ability to drive innovative solutions and foster a culture of sustainability in engineering practices
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
