Qiddiya Investment Company is revolutionizing the entertainment and leisure industry in Saudi Arabia, and we are seeking a detail-oriented Associate Director for Construction & Procurement to join our dynamic team. In this essential role, you will oversee procurement processes and construction operations to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Your expertise will be critical in cultivating vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and managing construction activities, ensuring seamless execution of our transformative projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the procurement strategy for construction materials, services, and subcontractor engagement to support project execution
  • Lead the evaluation and selection of vendors, negotiating favorable contracts that align with Qiddiya's goals
  • Coordinate with project teams to define procurement needs, schedules, and budgets
  • Oversee construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, timelines, and safety regulations
  • Monitor project costs and performance, implementing corrective actions as necessary to mitigate risks
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration
  • Develop and implement best practices in procurement and construction management to enhance efficiency
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior management regarding procurement status and construction performance

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in procurement and/or construction project management, with at least 10 years in the construction industry and 5+ years in the GCC.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Supply Chain, or related discipline. Master's or MBA preferred.
  • Recognized certifications such as MCIPS, CPSM, PMP, or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, IFS)
  • Proven leadership in managing cross-functional teams, including procurement professionals, contract engineers, and project delivery staff.
  • Extensive exposure to mega/giga construction projects (infrastructure, real estate, or industrial)
