The Commercial Associate is responsible for supporting the Merchandising function through research, data collection, and operational coordination. The role ensures seamless collaboration between Merchandising and cross-functional teams, accurate product information, and effective execution of administrative and operational activities.

ROLE PURPOSE
The Commercial Associate is responsible for supporting the Merchandising function through research, data collection, and operational coordination. The role ensures seamless collaboration between Merchandising and cross-functional teams, accurate product information, and effective execution of administrative and operational activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research and collect market or product data to support the Merchandising team.
- Record, update, and maintain product and process information in relevant systems.
- Assist in managing relationships with local and international vendors as needed.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate stock availability and product details.
- Support content teams to ensure product content accuracy as directed by Sales Development.
- Perform administrative tasks including document retrieval, correspondence handling, filing, and office supply management.
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, organize travel arrangements, and prepare logistics for team activities.
- Participate in professional development opportunities and comply with Majid Al Futtaim Retail Human Capital policies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in a similar administrative or merchandising support role.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to coordinate across teams.
- Ability to collect and analyze data with strong attention to detail.
