About The Role

We are looking for an Associate Accountant to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable, working knowledge of ERP systems, and a strong grasp of accounting fundamentals.

What You'll Do

• Accounting for the routine JVs (GL, AP / AR), ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial information
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management and external stakeholders
• Doing the month-end closing
• Participate in the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll
• Preparation and submission of tax returns and other regulatory filings
• Prepare and monitor cash flows, including forecasting and identifying risks and opportunities
• Facilitate during the internal and external audit processes, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards
• Prepare audit schedules, and respond to audit inquiries
• Ensure compliance with IFRS in all transactions impacting GL
• Other tasks and ad hoc requirements as assigned by the Line Manager
  
  

Qualifications

• SOCPA registered
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems
• Bachelor's degree with a major in Accounting
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
• Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
• Available to start immediately or with short notice
