The project:

This opportunity is to be involved in a major mixed-use development, in Riyadh. The programme consists of over 200 projects including cultural and heritage assests, F&B, retail and hotels, commercial buildings and educational facilities.

Mace is currently providing the programme management and are looking for high-calibre experienced people.

As an Assistant Project Control Manager - Change, you will play a crucial role in supporting the PMO team with change control and baseline management. You will ensure that all WBS changes are properly documented, evaluated, and implemented while maintaining the integrity of project baselines.

  • Support with the development and maintenance of project baselines, including scope, schedule, and cost baselines.
  • Monitor and control project changes, ensuring all changes are documented, evaluated, and approved.
  • Providing technical support to assist in the change control process for WBS.
  • Working closely with cost/commercial, planning and risk towards an integrated project control.
  • Prepare change control reports and documentation to project stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with project controls standards.
  • Providing consistency of change control across the project, driving a timely approval/rejection of proposals.
  • Maintaining a change log and report authorised changes.
  • You are digitally savvy and can build lasting client relationships
  • Understanding of project controls methodologies and techniques.
  • A good understanding of project controls and change control processes.
  • Previous experience on a major construction project.

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products e.g. MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

You’ll need to have:

  • Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and have relevant work experience working on high valued projects/programmes for a project management consultancy business, which are required for immigration and client approval.
  • A technical degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proven relevant experience in project management or project controls environment in a construction or consultancy background.
