EY Risk Advisory and especially the Digital Risk team is currently looking to scale up the capabilities and skills on hand to serve the increasing demands of our clients in their sophisticated technology environments 2.

The opportunity

In your role as an Assistant Manager/Manager for Responsible AI with EY MENA Consulting, you will be among the senior executives of EY Digital Risk competency operating as one team across different MENA offices to serve our MENA clients. You will contribute to our account-centric growth strategy focusing on issue-based and competency-driven client needs. That's what differentiates EY in the consulting marketplace 3.

Your Key Responsibilities

You will help our clients evaluate and enhance their business, with a focus on managing the risk arising from ongoing technology developments and the resultant fast-paced changes in their business and operational processes 4. To make that happen, you will need a strong team and internal network to leverage our intellectual property and lessons learned 5. Everything you will be involved in comes down to providing excellent customer service and guiding EY teams to do the same. Whether it is working with multiple client teams, advising the clients on Responsible AI-related matters, or actively working with EY account teams and partners in business development activities across various sectors, you will build strong relationships and become a trusted advisor to your clients 6.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Proven track record of success in the MENA/GCC region with key clients and industry sectors 13.
• A master’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related discipline. Alternatively, a degree in business, accounting, or finance, with additional IT qualifications 14.
• Master’s degree will be preferable 15.
• 8-10 years of relevant experience of working as an IT risk consultant for a professional services firm or a public accounting firm, or as a senior executive of a technology company, a financial services company, telecom company, or comparable experience as an IT/IS expert 16.
• Relevant experience areas include a combination of Responsible AI, Digital Risk Management, Business Continuity Management, IT Disaster Recovery Management, Crisis Management, Third Party Risk Management, Technology Compliance Management, Technology Asset Management, Mobile Technology, Emerging Technologies (Robotics, IoT, Cloud and Blockchain), ERP Controls (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics), Technical Controls Management for IT Systems and Networking technologies, Data Analytics, IT/Business Process & Controls Management, IT/IS Internal Audit, and/or Third-Party Reporting 17.
• Strong skills in project management, team management, and client service 18.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills 19.
• A willingness to travel to meet client needs 20.
  
  

Ideally, you will also have

• CISA, CBCP, CISSP, IRM, CISM, and/or CIA certification is essential for long-term growth in the role; Based on an individual’s professional background, area of specialization, or industry focus, we recognize that other certifications, credentials, or experience may be more relevant than the listed certifications and therefore may be acceptable 21.
