The Assistant Lab Manager supports the Calibration Lab Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the calibration lab. This role involves managing calibration technicians, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and maintaining the accuracy and reliability of calibration processes.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervision Assist in supervising and coordinating the activities of calibration technicians.
- Quality Assurance Ensure all calibration procedures meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Documentation Oversee the maintenance of accurate records and documentation of calibration activities.
- Training Provide training and mentorship to calibration technicians and new staff.
- Process Improvement Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
- Inventory Management Manage inventory of calibration equipment and supplies, ensuring availability and proper maintenance.
- Customer Service Address customer inquiries and concerns related to calibration services.
- Reporting Prepare and present reports on lab performance and calibration activities to the Calibration Lab Manager.
- Education Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Engineering, Metrology) or equivalent experience.
- Experience Minimum of 5 years of experience in calibration or a related field, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
