Robert Walters Middle East is currently working with a multinational engineering business. They are looking to hire an Assistant Finance Manager to join their team. This position is based in Dammam, KSA.
The Assistant Finance Manager will support the Finance Controller in overseeing the financial operations of the company. This role involves assisting in managing accounting functions, budgeting, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

The Assistant Finance Manager will support the Finance Controller in overseeing the financial operations of the company. This role involves assisting in managing accounting functions, budgeting, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Support in the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, internal controls, and auditing requirements.
- Assist with tax filings and liaise with external auditors and tax consultants.
- Conduct variance analysis to monitor budget vs. actual performance, providing insights for improvement.
- Monitor cash flow and working capital to ensure efficient financial operations.
- Provide support in managing financial aspects of contracts, project costing, and financial reporting related to ongoing engineering projects.
- Assist in implementing and maintaining financial policies, procedures, and systems for process improvement and efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. CPA, ACCA, or CMA qualification is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in a similar position, preferably within the engineering, construction, or manufacturing industry.
- Must already be based in Saudi Arabia.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
