Assistant Engineer, QA / QC | alfanar Electric

This position exist to assist in performing product Quality Control and Quality assurance activities efficiently, in timely manner and quality standards as per the defined policies and procedures to achieve departmental operational plans and developments.

Inspection Support and Documentation:

• Assist in preparing and maintaining process inspection plans, check sheets, test reports, quality alerts, and work instructions.
• Support the maintenance of documentation required for ISO 9001:2015 compliance and audit closure.Assist in creating SAP inspection plans for new materials and posting/verifying finished goods using SAP QM.

Non-Conformance and Corrective Actions:

• Monitor rework and rejection cases within fabrication and switch box processes and report findings.
• Support the execution of root cause analysis and follow-up on corrective/preventive actions for product and process issues.Participate in verifying and maintaining records for first piece approvals (FPA), routine inspections, and destructive test reports.

Daily Operations and Quality Control:

• Attend daily production meetings to discuss and support resolution of manufacturing quality issues.
• Assist in allocating inspection manpower and maintaining administrative records related to inspection activities.Track and report KPIs for the fabrication process under the guidance of the QA engineer or section manager.

Tooling and Audit Support:

• Assist in identifying inspection tool requirements, including gauges and fixtures for mechanical and electrical processes.
• Support monthly process audits and help review daily inspection records to track observations and follow-up actions.

Training and Compliance Awareness:

• Support the delivery of training sessions related to process and product quality requirements.
• Record audit data, apply basic statistical quality methods, and assist in process capability studies (Cp, Cpk) under supervision.

HR Proficiency:

• Ability to obtain updated soft and technical skills related to the job

Delivery:

• Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.
• Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
• Provide a periodic report formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.

Problem-Solving:

• Solve any related problems arise and escalate any complex operational issues.Quality:
• Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities.

Business Process Improvements:

• Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automations opportunities as much as possible.

Compliance:

• Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions.

Health, Safety, and Environment:

• Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.
