About the location:

Steps from the Prophet’s Mosque, our Hotel will offer luxury accommodation for the city’s 1.5 million annual visitors. The new-build hotel will be located at the heart of Madinah and steps from one of the most historic and significant sites in the region: Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, also known as the Prophet’s Mosque. Madinah is also home to the Quba Mosque, which is regarded as the oldest mosque in the world.

The Role Of Assistant Director Of Finance

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Assistant Director of Finance to join our Four Seasons Hotel Madinah opening team!

This role reports to Director of Finance, and you will be responsible for supervising the day-to-day operation of the accounting office and assisting the Director of Finance in the administration of all financial aspects of the hotel’s operation; ensuring that all local and corporate policies and procedures are observed and that you are continuously striving for improvement of processes and efficiency.

Responsibilities will include assisting the Director of Finance in Forecasting/Budgeting, team leadership and development, monitoring and controlling expenses of the hotel, reporting, tax returns, preparation of financial statements, accruals and journal entries, maintaining reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts, and coordinating and facilitating external and internal audits.

Our Ideal Assistant Director Of Finance Candidate Will Have

Three to five years of experience in a similar position within a hotel/resort environment, a University Degree with a major in Finance or Accounting, working technical knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, and job knowledge of all positions in Accounting, Purchasing and Food & Beverage control. Pre-Opening experience is advantageous.

You should have the highest level of integrity and transparency, strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills to work with cross-functional teams, the ability to prepare and deliver reports, effective presentations and to facilitate meetings, and a desire to promote a continuous learning environment that creates an atmosphere for professional development opportunities.

Suitable candidates must be eligible to work in Madinah, Saudi Arabia. Fluency in Arabic and English is essential.
