Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Chief Accountant to join our finance team in Madinah, Saudi Arabia. In this key leadership role, you will work closely with the Finance team to oversee the Hotel's financial operations, ensure compliance with local and company regulations, and drive financial strategy.

Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Chief Accountant to join our finance team in Madinah, Saudi Arabia. In this key leadership role, you will work closely with the Finance team to oversee the Hotel's financial operations, ensure compliance with local and company regulations, and drive financial strategy.
- Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the accounting department
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, reports, and forecasts
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, local Saudi accounting standards, and regulatory requirements
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making
- Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals
- Assist in budget preparation and financial planning processes
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies as needed
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions
- Provide support in special projects and financial analyses as required by senior management
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional accounting certification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) is preferred
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in a senior role
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle Financials)
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and local Saudi accounting standards
- Excellent financial analysis and reporting skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Experience in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
- Familiarity with Saudi tax laws and regulations
- Knowledge of Saudi Arabian financial regulations and reporting requirements
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are highly desirable
