This position reports to

Local Division Manager - IAMP

Your role and responsibilities

  • System Sales
  • Sales of ABB Marine systems according to system portfolio and customer needs
  • Establish local pricing structure for ABB marine system within global framework
  • Business network establishment
  • Sales of ABB Marine systems according to system portfolio and customer needs
  • Reach set sales targets on orders and margins
  • Establish local pricing structure for ABB marine system within global framework
  • Support and follow up all commercial offers to customers together with the technical support team.
  • Customer relation management
  • Business Development
  • Establish and execute the system sales strategy for Marine System within the framework of the global and local strategies
  • Bring forward new business opportunities based on customer needs
  • Business forecasting
  • Technical presentations and participation in seminars and exhibitions
  • Business intelligence
  • Customer mapping
  • Sales Force – maintain and enter leads in database
  • Map competitor's activities and offerings

  • Work and cooperate with global Marine System team and local Business Units

Qualifications for the role

  • Electrical Engineering Degree
  • Mininum of 5 years relevant Marine experience
  • Technical competence to understand customer needs
  • Good time management
  • Structured and organized
  • Positive attitude
  • Solution oriented
  • Arab speaking
