Area Sales Manager

Valmet Flow Control business line delivers mission-critical flow control technologies and services for the continuously evolving needs of various process industries. We help our customers to improve their process performance and environmental efficiency, and to ensure the safe flow of materials.

We are looking for an Area Sales Manager to strengthen our Flow Control team in Saudi Arabia. You will be responsible for successful development and growth of business in the Central and Western Province of Saudi Arabia.

Your Mainly Activities Will Be

• Sales and Marketing of Valmet Flow Control products direct and via distribution channels.
• Ensure necessary product approvals with all End-Users, EPC’s and listing on all project vendor lists.
• Map the market; business potential for Valmet Flow Control and identify business development initiatives.
• Plan & execute Annual action plans.
• Create and develop high level customer contacts.
• Co-ordinate customer seminars, events and other marketing initiatives.
• Follow business trends & competitors' action, and report & implement necessary action.
• To follow up all local projects with contractors from FEED to Awarded.
• Ensure effective inter-company project communication.
• Reporting.
• Technical review of inquiry documents.
• Reply to quotation technical queries.
• Commercial Contract Review and Negotiations.
  
  

What you will need to be successful in the role:

• University degree in Engineering.
• At least 10 years of overall sales experience in the Middle East, and at least 5 years’ experience of sales management in Saudi Arabia with transferrable Iqama (preferred).
• Knowledge of Valves / Flow Control products.
• Customer oriented approach.
• Willingness to travel (approx. 50%)
• Driving license.
