Job Summary:

The Area Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations and performance of multiple locations or project sites within a designated geographical area. The role combines leadership, operational oversight, and project management. The manager ensures that operations align with organizational goals, customer satisfaction is achieved, and company policies and regulatory requirements are followed. As a Project Manager, the individual is also accountable for project execution, especially in the areas of traffic signal maintenance, construction, and emergency response.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations across multiple sites, ensuring consistency in performance, quality, and safety.
  • Lead, train, and support site supervisors, project engineers, and other personnel to meet project and business targets.
  • Drive sales growth and profitability by setting targets, monitoring budgets, and implementing performance-enhancing strategies.
  • Ensure high standards of customer service, promptly address issues, and implement improvement measures.
  • Monitor compliance with safety standards, Saudi Aramco requirements, legal regulations, and internal policies.
  • Manage existing and upcoming projects, ensuring on-time delivery and high-quality execution.
  • Handle project planning, resource allocation, cost control, and progress tracking.
  • Provide regular performance and financial reports to senior management.
  • Develop and maintain emergency response procedures, ensuring 24/7 availability to handle urgent maintenance issues.
  • Attend weekly coordination meetings with company and client representatives (e.g., SAUDI ARAMCO).
  • Implement training and development programs to enhance team capabilities and safety awareness.


Qualifications:

  • Education:
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years in a similar role involving traffic signal maintenance, construction, or cabinet troubleshooting.
  • Prior experience managing multiple teams or locations.
  • Knowledge of Saudi Aramco standards is a strong advantage.


Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong leadership, team-building, and motivational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
  • High-level problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Expertise in project planning, resource management, and cost control.
  • Solid knowledge of traffic signal systems, construction safety, and regulatory compliance.
  • Ability to interpret data, prepare reports, and implement improvements.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, project management software, and ERP systems.


Special Requirements:

  • Must be on call 24/7 for emergency maintenance and be available within two (2) hours upon notification from SAUDI ARAMCO if required.
  • Responsible for receiving and processing Contract Release POs, managing field work, and ensuring timely completion and documentation.
  • Must attend regular project meetings and collaborate with Company Representatives for WORK directives.
