Job Purpose
The Architectural QA/QC Engineer is responsible for overseeing the implementation of quality control practices in the construction of architectural features on-site. This includes reviewing architectural plans and designs, ensuring construction meets all specifications and standards, conducting site inspections, and coordinating with project managers, contractors, and architects to resolve issues.
Key Accountability AreasQuality Assurance & Compliance
Review architectural plans and ensure alignment with quality standards and regulations.
Monitor construction to ensure compliance with approved designs and codes.
Conduct regular inspections to verify quality and technical compliance.
Site Inspections & Documentation
Inspect architectural elements (walls, finishes, windows, etc.) for defects or non-conformance.
Document and report quality issues (NCRs) and verify material compliance.
Coordinate with contractors for proper task execution.
Issue Resolution
Identify and resolve potential quality issues during construction.
Collaborate with project teams to implement solutions promptly.
Stakeholder Coordination
Communicate regularly with architects, engineers, and contractors.
Provide updates to QHSE and project managers on quality matters.
Participate in meetings related to quality control and risk management.
Continuous Improvement
Develop and apply best practices in architectural QC.
Provide QC training to the construction team.
Final Inspection & Handover
Conduct final inspections to confirm design intent is met.
Support preparation of handover documents, reports, and certifications.
Skills & Competencies (Shortened):
Technical: Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, 3DS MAX, LUMION, BIM 360, NAVISWORKS, MS Office, and project tools.
Detail-Oriented: Skilled in spotting non-conformance and ensuring standards.

Analytical: Can read drawings/specs and check for compliance.
