About the role:

Zutari is seeking a qualified Architectural Inspector to join our team in Medinah, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will play a critical role in overseeing architectural works on-site, ensuring compliance with specifications, standards, and project requirements. This is a key position within our project supervision team, contributing to the successful delivery of high-quality built environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and monitor architectural work to ensure compliance with approved drawings, materials, specifications, and local codes.
  • Coordinate closely with the contractor, consultants, and other inspectors on-site to ensure work is executed according to design intent and schedule.
  • Review architectural shop drawings and material submittals and raise comments or non-conformances as necessary.
  • Document observations, progress, and issues in daily inspection reports.
  • Ensure workmanship meets Zutari’s and client quality standards.
  • Attend regular site coordination meetings and provide input on architectural issues.
  • Liaise with the Resident Engineer and escalate unresolved site issues promptly.
  • Monitor and report on architectural construction progress and assist in managing punch lists and project closeout.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in architecture or architectural engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in architectural site supervision, ideally on large-scale or high-profile building projects.
  • Strong knowledge of building construction methods, architectural detailing, and materials.
  • Familiarity with relevant Saudi Arabian codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Previous experience working in Saudi Arabia or the GCC is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in using digital inspection tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
