If you share our determination to drive the transition to a low-carbon future, then this could be the job for you. We are currently seeking an Architect (Cruise Ships & Yachts), reporting directly to the Project Director to join our project team based in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia.

This is an opportunity for US or Canadian nationals and is an Expat assignment in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will need to have a passport and qualify for a Saudi work visa.

About The Job

• With substantial experience in theme park design (mechanical rides, water parks, and extreme sports).
• Has a deep understanding of creating immersive and engaging environments that captivate visitors and realise project vision.
• Proficiency in integrating complex systems, optimizing space, while creating attractive and functional layouts and volumes.
• Expertise in master planning, ride design and integration, and themed architecture.
• Experience in collaborating with creatives, engineers, designers, and contractors to bring creative concepts to life while ensuring safety, functionality, and cost-effectiveness.
• A strong portfolio of completed theme park projects is required.

About You

We’d love to hear from you if your profile meets the following essential requirements:

Qualifications:

Must have:

• Minimum of MSc/MEng/MBA qualified in the stated discipline
• Chartered surveyor and Member of the relevant institution (e.g. RICS/ICE)
• Proficiency in integrating complex systems, optimizing space, while creating attractive and functional layouts and volumes.
• Depending on experience, responsible for planning and managing the delivery of the surveying elements of the project (including resource time and cost), either alone or through multi discipline project teams
• Capable of working on their own initiative (with minimal supervision)
• Knowledge of interior and exterior architectural design and engineering.
  
  
  

Languages:

• English, Fluent
  
  
  

Preferred Skills:

• Experience as PMC
• Experience in KSA or Middle-East with renowned clients
• Infrastructures project experience would be an advantage
